My name is Jim Wagner and I am a computer programmer. Back in the ’90s I taught myself how to maintain a small business web site using HTML. Later, I began to help the church where I was a member to maintain and update their web site.
At one church, I was responsible for maintaining and expanding their web site. This included moving it to a new host. Finally, the pastor decided that a new site design was needed and discovered WordPress.
This has opened up a new world to me. Finally I have found a tool that can be used by a church to easily maintain their web site once it has been initially set up. When the site is configured and live and with a minimal amount of training, your church can update and maintain your own site without needing any programming.
If you can use a word processor, I can build you a web site that your church can be proud of and use for years .
Other interests include singing with the Sound of Illinois barbershop chorus in Bloomington, IL, and volunteering for both the Habitat for Humanity ReStore and the Midwest Food Bank.
